Submissions
THE SUBMISSION PERIOD IS NOW CLOSED. You are invited to submit a peer-reviewed poster presentation proposal for consideration for VGTVG 2025!
DUE ON OR BEFORE SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2024.
ALL APPLICANTS WILL RECEIVE NOTIFICATION ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2024.
The format is for a 60-minute poster presentation. An anonymous peer-review process, conducted by Erik X. Raj with other interdisciplinary members of the Monmouth University community, will be used to select the presentations. We seek proposals, from students or professionals, that offer a rich and engaging learning-focused experience for attendees. In your proposal, we encourage you to clearly outline playful learning strategies that coincide with highlighting how various video games and/or video games adjacent experiences can enhance and augment your chosen aspect of learning or therapy.
Additionally, we welcome proposals that promote research findings and best practices, providing practical insights and actionable takeaways that attendees can implement in their own work after the conference concludes. The proposals should be concise, yet comprehensive, showcasing a thoughtful and well-structured plan for delivering a dynamic and informative presentation.
Lastly, “proposed research” or “works in progress” are also more than welcome.
To inspire and guide your proposal, here are some examples of poster presentation titles from previous VGTVG installments:

All poster presenters will be provided a designated space in the posters area, which will include an individual easel with a poster board. You can clip and/or pin your poster to the board using the provided clips and pins. The poster board accommodates posters up to 36" x 48" in size, but smaller posters are also welcome. This setup ensures that your work is displayed prominently and securely for all attendees to view and discuss.
